What is Art Masterpiece?
Art Masterpiece is a collaboration between the Phoenix Art Museum, the Arts in Education Council, and our school district.
The program is designed for students in grades K-6.
It relies on parent volunteers to present information about
a variety of art and artists.
Our students not only learn about the artist and work of art,
they have a chance to create their own masterpieces using many
different media.
How Can I Be Involved?
The time commitment is just one to two hours per month—it’s that easy. Add more hours if you want. Previous presentations include sculptures, paintings, collage and calligraphy. Introduce new artists and art, then help the children create their own masterpieces.
Go crazy!
